Tax System in Syria
Syria does not currently operate a VAT system. The Ministry of Finance oversees a tax system based on income tax and profit tax. Despite the absence of VAT, basic invoicing requirements remain in place. XiKey supports zero-VAT invoicing today and is ready to support any future tax system when enacted.

VAT-Free Invoicing
Since Syria does not currently apply VAT, XiKey generates clean invoices without tax lines. When any future tax system is enacted, tax calculation can be activated instantly from system settings without requiring a software update.
Syrian Pound Support
XiKey supports the Syrian Pound (SYP) with the Arabic symbol ل.س and correct handling of large amounts. Multi-currency support is included for managing pricing in different currencies when needed.
Full Arabic RTL
XiKey provides a complete Arabic interface with RTL (right-to-left) support across all screens, invoices, and reports. Includes Hijri calendar and Arabic-Hindi numeral support in printed documents.
